I'm going to give it more time, though.
You should check out a few past seasons or the UK version. I think you'd like it, and you would get a feel of how Love Island usually rolls.

Destiny talkin bout most people are intimidated by her took me out. Just because people don’t want to pursue or choose to leave romantic situations with yu because of the way yu act and/or portray yourself doesn’t mean they are intimidated. You’re just not what they want.. but I could be mistaken.

Seasons before couples were already made and stayed, tests would come in, casa amor, etc. But usually people coupled up quickly and usually went the distance with bumps in the road. Yeah, people think Destiny is chaste. She's not. She made out with Marco on Day 1, which is very rare on LI. She was making out in bed with Harrison with him all over her. What Harrison said made sense--he wanted someone more flirty and outgoing. Destiny is that way when she first meets a guy then she becomes reserved. It's her choice to be reserved, but it doesn't work well on this show. However, I think her issue is when her guy is open. She will be ok if a guy is 100% focused on her.
I noticed Keenan's razor bumps, too. 😖 His energy in that convo with Imani was very...I don't know what...combative/aggressive? I'm not sure what to make of it. I'm tired of these women creating reasons to feel disrespected. I said Kay wasn't going to leave Keenan because of soul ties but I wasn't thinking of Soul Ties... ... 1

Now, a few takeaways:
- Marco really do move like a big sassy B****. He's quick to gossip, and always seem to subtly throw guys under the bus. He's the male Carmen.
- Kay & Keenan both need to take that toxic long term situationship off the show already. So much to dislike from them both this episode that it's kind of like what's the point.
- To ME... Destiny was wildin! Imani had every right to do all that extra dumb sh*t she did in kind, when Destiny told her that she can't speak to Jonah in that moment. The audacity! Now, like you, this is my first season, but I feel like I have a strong grasp for the proper etiquette of the game. The new people are supposed to speak to the current Islanders. I feel like Destiny once believed herself to be the prettiest woman there, or at least, the most attractive Black woman. So she's threatened by Imani's presents. Couple that with the fact that she knows she's on her last leg on the show, and if Imani snatch Jonah, her ass will be spooning with Victor soon.
- Bergie is a nice guy and all, but he really has to go. I feel like he's taking up a valuable spot for someone that can really stir the pot in there. He's sad puppy M.O ain't good for my viewing pleasure lol ... 1

Or perhaps each is waiting for the other to say that they want to be exclusive. They both say that they are open but when they see the other with someone else they get pissed. Also I think Keenan really likes Kay but he trying to be hard since he is on tv..lol Also you noticed wow pissed he got when Kassy said that he was making googly eyes at her. It was is game but he was hot cuz he didn’t want to mess things up with Kay Kay. I also think that Harrison has a stronger connection to Destiny but she is too nonchalant. I think the main reason he decided to recouple was to make her jealous or he was hoping for her to say that she was feeling him like he was feeling her.
