    @chacmool2581last year A few comments:
    1. There are actually two "16-inch" wheel sizes, ETRTO 305 and ETRTO 349. Yours seems to be the latter size whose tires usually max out in size at 37mm wide. This means that they are relatively narrow, low volume and required higher air pressure, making them kinda harsh on non-smooth surfaces. The other type, ETRTO 305, come in larger sizes, up to 57mm wide, requiring lower pressure. This is the size you want for more comfort.
    2. The smaller the wheel, the stronger it is, holding all factors constant.
    3. The smaller the wheel, the faster they are too accelerate, leading to a more spirited and agile ride.

@cre8iveworks10 months ago Great video and really love the watermelon and pineapple outfits!! I ride a Zizzo Urbana with 20” wheels and I love it! It’s great for road and off road trail adventures. I updated the seat with a Terry Topo MTB saddle in pink as well as added pink wheels for my own personal flair!🎉 I’ve recently added wheel lights with changing pattern designs as well for sunset riding around campgrounds when camping. The Zizzo Urbana has been on some pretty rough off road trails and has always felt extremely strong and durable. I absolutely love this bike! ... 2

@DangerfieldChrislast year I’ve been in Cambodia for five years and finally decided to have my Dahon sent here. Should be about three weeks and I can’t wait!! 4

@Chrisb8slast year I have a 24 inch folding bike from tern. The node. I needed something that I could toss in the trunk of a car or hatchback. It is just a little bigger than the 20 inch when all folded up. There is something fun about a folding bike. Makes you feel like a kid ... 6

    @SonnyDarvishzadehlast year On bigger bikes, 650b v 700c is already noticeable, so 16" v 20" is understandable :)
If I could find a long seat post with elastomer suspension, I'd go with smaller wheel for practicality, otherwise, the bigger wheels isn't a bad choice either! ...

@anniebikes7002last year I have a 20" Dahon and wouldn't switch to smaller wheels for the way I use the bike - touring and exploring. 4
  • @
@IRSA1last year You both look so good in those colourful shirts !
I totally agree with Thuong, the bigger the wheels in a folding bike, the smoother and faster the ride. Also, if you have any sensitivity in your upper trapezius area, riding in a bent scrunched up position for any length of time can be seriously sore, as for women’s saddles, it is vital to get them right ! Overall, it is not really a personal choice, but what suits the way you are built. ...

@hamar44229 months ago I consider the 20 inch the limousine among the folding bikes. They are not that compact to transport but do not shake you while driving and still accelerate very quickly. With enough gears you can reach high speeds with less effort than a regular bicycle. ... 12
  • @
@dcpedallast year For me, both types are fun to ride. I even have a 16inch two-fold which is the lightest among these models. 1
  • @
@dash5938last year Nice review. Seeing you using your folding bikes in Thailand, as well as reviews from ibike unfolded, helped convince me to buy a folding bike. A Zizzo 20 inch. Now I keep the bike in the trunk of my car – and whenever I’m free after work or on the weekend I just get out and bike at our local park. The convenience of it helps me to get out more often and moving. ... 4

@TroubleshootGamingMedslast year I love your matching shirts! Im torn between the 2. Ride feel of 20 inch vs convenience of smaller folding 16 inch... 5

@TheVTX8811 months ago As your new secret riding spot maybe think about holding a clean-up of the area. It’s not a long path and looks like a lot of people enjoy the quiet path. There are a lot of illegal dumping spots and lots of trash down that path. And being that so many people enjoy that spot they might appreciate someone holding a clean-up event and join in on the clean-up. Good luck! ... 1

@finncarlbomholtsrensen11887 months ago As an owner of an original, 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton (The origin of the Mobot Royale, Copy!), I also owned a Makita electric folder, as the Dahon bike, which only folded once (But the rideable distance on two small tool batteries was low). It is like comparing apples with potatoes! The triple folding bike has its one purpose and its one good side in the compact fold, as it other vise is a heavy ride for longer distances! And the Brompton has a suspension in the rubber between the Triangle and the frame, which works for both wheels with the rider as Center of Gravity!! The 20" bike has none! And the 20", yes it kind of "folds", as its most prominent feature! 😄 Finn. Denmark ...
  • @
@4403323last year Comfort is too important for me. I will go for the 20-inch wheels. A new Dahon will be here soon. 5
  • @
@philipdavis7521last year One obvious solution to the big vs small wheel thing is to have some kind of suspension, like the Birdy. i had one many years ago and it worked quite well. 3
  • @
@nauscakes1868last year I have no idea how you do your audio (and I'm not an expert that needs to know), but jesus was it spot on. I mostly just listen to these videos and only watch sporatically, and it felt like you recorded it in a studio, but everytime I'd glance over--you guys are outside in the wind, lol. Well done! ... 4
  • @
@xbmarxlast year I have both (never enough bikes) and I can't decide. 😂 I probably ride the 20 inch more, but I do like the 16 inch for when I know I will be taking a bus/train/uber part of the way. The 20 inch folds but yeah, I feel it folds more to keep a small package when you store it in your apartment. ... 6
  • @
@zeldajunkielol2last year 16 inch folding bikes are really nice, I have a brompton and love it, but front stability can be pretty sketchy if you're pedaling at high speeds. 6
  • @
@bisikleta10157 months ago Great vid, now I'm bummed, probably just get both 😅
  • @
@bobbieboothroyd8531last year It's interesting how the bike can carry that shopping at the end of the video. You both look ready for summer in them tops stay safe
  • @
@LarryHopperlast year I have the same rear rack on my Zizzo Liberté. I like the rack despite its upturned rear, which is terribly impractical.
  • @
@indigowendigo8464last year 20 inch bifold can do everything you need in a folding bike for a fraction of the price of a trifold. They aren't as small but still work in multimodal transport and are better to ride 5
  • @
@mancellolast year Thuong looking very stylish. I had a Dahon Mariner D7 but even with an extra long seatpost it was not the best fit for my 6 feet 3 inch body.
  • @
@Moonrakerd4 months ago I have dahon and brompton and I find dahon to be way more practical, its really fast to fold to go into tube, also better ride comfort with bigger wheels 1
  • @
@vincentnnyclast year Can you talk about maintenance? What if you are not tech savvy in fixing the flat tires between the dahon vs royale etc.? How easy is to bring to a local bike shop to fix a flat tire and if they have the spares part for them? ... 1
  • @
@bebopkirbylast year Appears the Mobot like the Brompton needs a longer seat post for most adult European male types. Been wanting a 16” folder, but keep thinking that after the initial high of getting one, how often will l opt to ride it over my more comfortable and efficient 20” Tern. ...
  • @
@kelalamusic9258last year Love the outfits. You should also get matching shorts. Great trail without the traffic. Right up my ally. Forgive me for saying, but they should name that trail, “Trash Trail.” Reminds me of the Philippines, garbage everywhere. No pride of environment. Such a shame. 16” vs 20”? Well, I have a 20” Dahon, so I can’t make a comparison. I don’t mind it, but I would prefer a standard 26” bike, if I had one. 😊 ...

  • @
@davidhunternyc14 months ago Would you rather have a 16" Brompton or a 20" custom Brompton? Why? Thank you.
  • @
@ianferguson3543last year 20 " wheels are more stable. If you need a folding bike then the 20's will give you a ride that's closer to a regular bike. You will probably need a comfy saddle as you may not have any suspension. 2
  • @
    @moochincrawdadlast year I've already got a 20" folder so now I'd like a 16" 😀 3

@donwinstonlast year If you want a folding bike then I would assume you'd want maximum portability so get the 16inch version. 1

@accountuser55887 months ago Are folding bikes good for long distance riding like say 5+ miles?
I'm kinda short at 5f9 so not worried about the bike being small.

  • @
@Eduardo_Espinoza10 months ago I'm thinking of going smaller without looking like a clown, while fixing the small wheel problem & I think the 16" tri-fold frame is a perfect platform :).
It's hard to get a folded 20" bike in places e.g. public transportation, even though it's the same size as a folded wheelchair.
Last tidbit, the dahon rack straps don't last unfortunately :/.

  • @
@TheUntypicalslast year 20 inch tyres and inner tubes are easier to come by. As well as panniers for bikes with 20 inch wheels. I find 16 inch wheel bikes don't handle turning well but i guess they would be better if you have a dynamo fitted and also might have faster acceleration from a standing start. ... 1

@sitoudien9816last year I had seriously considered a folding bike but was shocked at the price. My intent was to put it in my car trunk and bike everywhere. I was disappointed at the low spec and high price. I looked at buying a chinese model and customize to a road worthy bike. In the end I went with a road bike because I wanted to join a club. ...

@tullioderosa56573 months ago Bigger wheels roll better which is a science fact, up against 700c your little wheels struggle to overcome the resistance of any small bumps in the road that larger wheels overcome with ease. So if you really must have a folding bike 🤔 ?????? Get one with the largest wheels possible. ...

@dodgydruid9 months ago Bit of advice, in former British colonies in Asia, the two fingers is seen as a very bad insult equal to FO and you might find some folks getting a bit hot under collar for it, same in India and Pakistan some will get irritated by it, Australia and New Zealand likely to get u a major argument. Dunno why American's and Canadian's forget their heritage and where it all came from as it used to be a major insult stateside once upon a time too. ...

@JamesWood-dj1lf9 months ago I've been riding this bike for about a month and a half now and I think it's fantastic. It helps me get to work on time every day since I'm able to fit it inside of public transportation rush hour. The price is great too, people are always shocked when they ask me how much I paid for the fold up and I tell them "200". It's easy to fold and installation when it ships is insanely easy. All you have to install when the bike arrives is one foot pedal, everything else is done for you. I do recommend you carry some sort of wrench to tighten any loose screws on the handle bar and seat whenever they get a little bit loose. Other than that I think it's a fantastic bike. Easily fits in the home, can fit inside a car trunk and can even fit in subway rush hour. ...

@terryfong9110last year 20" wheel size is the minimum for a stable ride. 16" is dangerous.
