This is a delicious, deep-fried pastry dough, similar to a hot cinnamon sugar doughnut. And also yes I realized I called it a tequila sunrise instead of Killaloe sunrise. I've been drinking a lot in quaratine ok. Makes 6 Beavertails Dough: 1/4 cup warm water 1 pack instant yeast / 6 g / 2 tsp 1/4 cup warm milk / 56 g 1/4 cup white sugar / 50 g + pinch 4 tbsp melted butter / 56 g 1 egg 1/2 tsp salt / 3 g 1 2/3 cup whole wheat flour / 200 g + more for dusting Approx. 1 cup peanut oil or other oil for frying Toppings: Cinnamon sugar Lemon Nutella Bananas Or whatever you want!!
