The Nine Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic The Nine Sanctum of Domination Boss Guide

The Nine Normal and The Nine Heroic guide! The Nine is a raid boss in the Sanctum of Domination raid of Shadowlands. We fight Kyra, Signe and Skyja in this fight directly with the other six val'kyr being involved as mechanics only. This The Nine boss guide will show you the The Nine abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the The Nine fight. Mythic The Nine has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic The Nine guide. Footage of The Nine for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Sanctum of Domination raid releases on live servers starting July 6th. In Phase One, you fight Kyra and Signe on the ground, tank swapping on three stacks of Kyra's Unending Strike. Interrupt and focus down the Formless Mass add ASAP. At 100 energy, Kyra uses Wings of Rage, which you run away from, while at 100 energy Signe uses Reverberating Refrain, which you need to run up to the boss to survive. Interrupt Signe's Song of Dissolution and Soulful Blast. When either Kyra or Signe reaches 15% health, Skyja comes down and enters the fight. It's probably best to bring the first two down somewhat evenly, so you can polish them off quickly once Skyja comes down. Skyja has a tank debuff of her own that needs swapping around three stacks. Her main mechanic is Fragments of Destiny- it's a DoT that jumps to the closest player when dispelled, and to get rid of it you need to get all of the Fragments of Destiny debuffs onto one player, where it will drop off as a frost pool. Meanwhile, Call of the Val'kyr is causing various mechanics to avoid. They're all pretty standard and look exactly like what they are, requiring the raid to spread, soak, run out and avoid damage.
