Joachim Löw has responds to a question about Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp's comments about the Germany head coach's decision to play a back three at Euro 2020.
Löw's side will face England at Wembley in the last 16 on Tuesday for a place in the quarter-finals.
Germany set up the match after losing to France 1-0, beating Portugal 4-2 and then drawing a dramatic game with Hungary 2-2 in Group F.
After the Portugal win, Klopp told Magenta TV: “It’s a bit uncomfortable to judge because every coach has the right to make their own decisions. But I would play a back four with this team – I don’t like the system very much.
“I could imagine a midfield with Joshua Kimmich, Ilkay Gündogan and Toni Kroos extremely well. Everyone would be in the position in which they feel comfortable.”
The tournament marks Löw's final in charge of the German national team, having guided them to World Cup success back in 2014.
And Klopp also told Magenta TV: “Regardless of all tactical aspects, I wish Jogi Löw the title. That would be the greatest culmination of his great time as national team coach and I would be very happy.”
