Ingredients used for 2-3 servings...
Spinach /Palak 1 bunch
Carrot/Gajar 100gm(approx.)
bottle gourd/ghia/lauki 100gm (approx.)
Paneer\cottage cheese\Indian cheese 200gm
Salt\namak 1tsp
sugar/chini 1/2tsp(to retain it's green colour )
Asafoetida/hing 1/4tsp
onion /pyaaz 1 small
Tomato/tamatar 1 medium
green chilly/hari mirch 2 or as per your taste
Garam masala 1/4tsp(homemade)or 1/2tsp(market )
Cumin seeds/Jeera 1tsp
Turmeric/Haldi 1/2tsp
cooking oil/pakanewala tel 1tsp
Butter 1tsp
water/paani 1/3 cup
Suggestions....
I have used homemade Paneer and punjabi garam masala in this recipe as it is more hygienic as well as cheaper.Market garam masala has more of coriander.
